Ideal beachside escape with friendly vibes and nearby attractions

I loved staying on a peaceful stretch of beach that felt private and family-friendly, plus we were just a short walk to fun attractions like the Navy Seal Monument, only 2 km away, and First Landing State Park, less than a 10-minute stroll; the hotel itself had clean rooms, comfortable beds with pillows of all squishiness levels, and an inviting indoor pool and hot tub to relax in after our city explorations. the breakfast options in the café could be a bit pricey compared to other nearby spots.

The location was perfect, and I absolutely loved the views from our oceanfront room where we even spotted dolphins! The outdoor swimming pool was a fantastic spot to relax after a day at the beach. Just a heads up, it might be helpful to ask about the building arrangements if you're traveling with a group, as it could be tricky to meet up. 😊

It was dirty, and our room had moldy trim, malfunctioning appliances, and terrible service. Honestly, I can’t believe we paid so much for such an unpleasant experience.

The location is a gem—quiet and peaceful, truly a retreat. The young man at check-in made a positive first impression with his professionalism and warmth. the experience quickly unraveled. The room was spacious but riddled with pests, including roaches and ticks. A malfunctioning phone and lack of action from staff was disappointing. Housekeeping was friendly, but the hotel’s physical condition raised concerns. Broken fixtures, unkempt bathrooms, and a dirty pool marred the experience. Amenities fell short for the price. Mismatched expectations led to frustration. Until improvements are made, returning is not an option. This place needs a serious overhaul.

The property was fairly clean with exceptional staff. The room was neat and there were facilities, including a storage and a coffeemaker. Top-notch service, even though a few employees were completely rude.

Wyndham Virginia Beach Oceanfront is conveniently located near the beach, making it easy to enjoy the sun and waves. The indoor pool area offers a relaxing retreat. the rooms could use significant updates and better cleanliness to match the price point.

The whole place was fairly clean, I loved it, and had very good staff and rooms. The room I booked was cleaned and available with double beds and Balcony, as for instance. Pet-friendly hotel in a pretty nice area of Virginia Beach.
